About the Authors:
Brothers Carr and John Hagerman teamed up to write "Learning to Fly; Lessons From a Real Life Superhero." The book is a retelling of a real life experience Carr had well on the road training the staff of a restaurant chain, Champps Americana. Carr Hagerman
![]() Carr Hagerman spent 20 years as a street performer who loved business. When he was offered the opportunity to translate what he'd learned on the street to the business world, he jumped at the chance. The opportunity came when he spoke about FISH!, the number one corporate training video of all time.
Carr became an international speaker on FISH! and eventually partnered up with Stephen Lundin, PhD, the author of 25 million FISH! books. Together they wrote "Top Performer; A Bold Approach to Sales and Service." The book uses the model of a street performer as a metaphor for how to do business. John Hagerman![]() John Hagerman was a natural fit for Top Performer, having been a street performer in the service of selling a product, along with 20 years of business management and ownership experience. His passion for the company helped enable it to train over 18,000 people in just two years.
With two degrees in writing, and experience in business and on the street, John took Carr's story and crafted a compelling story anyone can use to live life more powerfully. Today, John runs a Brand Storytelling and marketing business called Narratives.biz. In addition to Learning to Fly, John has recently published A Parent's Guide to Santa Claus: 101 Ways to Create Christmas Magic. Click here to learn more... |
